  1. two quick things i learned from snrush salman rushdie last night:
    1. he also gave a shout-out to ‘sympathy for the devil.’
    2. if you are writing a memoir, leave one good yarn out. save it for the in-person book tours and talk show appearances. it’s a nice gift for the listeners to learn something new, special.
